My great friend wishes for OSU to meet the mighty Gators again this year. I am not sure what he is thinking. It amazes me that OSU fan’s continue to want to be embarresed. If that is your wish my friend, I hope that it happens. I can say you are a hard core fan, but give up sometime. Basketball, Football???? What else can the Gators do to prove themselves to you. Had to bust you up a bit. I agree we need to hook up soon and talk some trash. Talk to you soon and tell the family hey.

Buckeyes open the doors to practice

In what has become a tradition, the Buckeyes held a practice open to the public on Monday night. Several thousand fans showed up, many of whom might not be able to afford the $63 it takes to see the Buckeyes open their season on Sept. 5 against Navy—and certainly not the $300 or $400 minimum price on eBay to get in the gate for the showdown a week later with Southern California.

As Tim Tebow and the Florida Gators prepare to make a run at their third national title in the past four seasons, the defending champions have already made some history.

Florida is No. 1 in The Associated Press preseason Top 25 released Saturday, followed by Texas, Oklahoma, Southern California and Alabama. But the Gators are in a class by themselves, the most overwhelming preseason No. 1 in the history of the media poll.

Meyer says Tebow is ‘100 percent’

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Florida quarterback Tim Tebow was held out of contact drills this week because of a sore lower back.

Coach Urban Meyer said Saturday that Tebow is “fine, 100 percent,” adding that the 2007 Heisman Trophy winner will be back to full speed in practice Monday and had no disk issues.
